WOW Gaming

I had so much fun playing World of Warcraft last night with Allen, Chris and Rob. Here's a screen shot of us in game - one of the many silly things we did:

I really like the caption at the top of this screenshot, "That ability requires combo points". smiley

Other silly things we did included: Allen and I crying over Chris' dead corpse, and the 4 of us jumping on the bed at the inn. I really wish I could have gotten a quicktime capture of that moment like you can in The Sims. Of course, we also completed quests, went critter hunting and explored the map.

I really can't wait to try out the other races in the game. For anyone else who wants to play, feel free to join in our party with us! The beta currently has no more account signups available, but they may be opening them again.

In my defense, I had nothing to do with the WoW Pr0n that went on last night...I was ordering a Garlic Roaster at my mom's Home & Gift party at the time.

Although, I did end the evening by sleeping in a bed at the Inn with some girl I had never met before. smiley

The game is very fun during normal play as well. I think this will be consuming a lot of my free time for many months to come.

Ya November 23rd will be the full retail release of the game. You will have to buy the box set (for the cd key) and set up an account to play after that. You probably get a free month or something when you buy the game though...or at least a free two weeks. Then you have to buy game cards or use a credit card to pay the monthly fee, which right now is $14.99 US for 1 month, $13.99/month for a 3 month block and I think $12.99/month for a 6 month block. I'm not sure how much the game cards are but I think they are for 3 month subscriptions.
