Simple Gmail Trick
This has been around since Gmail launched. It's not one of the more well known features, but it's extremely useful. Say you want to sign up on a web site, and you want to keep track of where you've used the address. You can use an alias in Gmail like this:
username+alias@gmail.com
So say I signed up at OffTopic.com I might use: guinusername+offtopic@gmail.com. Email you alias like this goes to your normal Gmail account. This method allows you to easily keep track of different places you've used your address, as well as track down sites who have sold your email address to spammers. Neat.
