Fireworks!!!
Here's a quick clip of the fireworks Allen and I enjoyed last night at Mel Lastman Square for the Canada Day celebrations. Happy Canada day everybody!
The fireworks (as you can see) were impressive, but brief. As they concluded the sky decided to give us all a free shower. Al and I certainly needed it after a day at Canada's Wonderland. The Top Gun made us feel funny. 
I was supposed to be celebrating Canada Day up north, but couldn't at the last minute. Rest assured, I'm thinking of all of my friends & family up there and I'll be up as soon as possible! 
Well we have 32 degree weather and 30 km/hr. winds today, so I'm heading out windsurfing. Over 'n out.

Well, that had to be the worst sail ever. Wind was great, got planing right away... went a good distance, then *wham* I started feeling really sick. I struggled to get back to shore (even though the wind was blowing on shore) as I got so weak and felt like throwing up. I've now been resting on the couch the past few hours.
This clip was only a small portion of the fireworks. Even though they were brief, the entire display lasted about 10 minutes. :)
The show in Edmonton lasted around 13 minutes. Apparantly Alberta spent the 2nd most on fireworks this year (Ottawa was of course 1st).
